Near the old “Rodić,” the first Belgrade hypermarket, not far from Kvantaš, a new mixed-use urban center is planned, featuring over 1,800 apartments, an elementary school, and a kindergarten, according to the Draft Detailed Regulation Plan (PDR) for the block between roads C47, C50, and T6, within the Autoput business zone in New Belgrade, for which the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction of the Belgrade City Administration has announced a public review.

The plan covers an area of approximately 10 hectares, aiming to create a mixed-use urban center with residential, commercial, and public facilities.

The location is planned to have a total gross building area of 200,930 m², of which 13,410 m² is designated for public facilities, and 187,520 m² for residential and commercial spaces.

The plan foresees 1,870 apartments for around 4,675 residents, as well as 738 employees within the commercial capacities.

Construction of a preschool facility with a capacity of 270 children is planned (on a plot of 4,231 m², with a gross building area of 2,538 m²), as well as an elementary school for 480 students (on a plot of approximately 12,077 m², with a gross building area of 10,872 m²).

Within the plan area, a network of roads, green spaces, and access routes to public service buildings will also be developed.

The public review of the Draft PDR will last until December 3.
